2008 Texas Mexico Cup Schedule of Events at Pecan Valley GC July 4, 2008 5pm – Texas Team check in/Texas uniform pick up at Pecan Valley GC (3team shirts and 1 team cap)/ banquet room/ mandatory Mexico team check and uniform pick up to be announced. 6pm-Texas team meeting at Pecan Valley GC / banquet room /mandatory Mexico team meeting to be announced. July 4, 2008/opening ceremony 7pm – Introduction of players and pairings. All teams must wear team shirts. 7:45 – Team Photo 8pm – Texas Mexico team’s dinner- dinner will be held outside dress casual. July 5, 2008 1st day of competition 8am progressive tee times starting at hole #1 8am progressive tee times starting at hole #10 for 7 and under divisions Format of play for first day to be announced as tournament nears. *for planning purposes all boy divisions(8-18divisions) will tee off first beginning with the oldest age groups followed by the younger boy divisions. Girls 14-18 will follow with the youngest girls teeing off last. July 6, 2008 2nd day of competition 8am progressive tee times starting at hole #1 8am progressive tee times starting at hole #10 for 7 and under divisions Format of play for first day to be announced as tournament nears. *for planning purposes all boy divisions(8-18divisions) will tee off first beginning with the oldest age groups followed by the younger boy divisions. Girls 14-18 will follow with the youngest girls teeing off last. July 7, 2008 3rd and final day of competition 8 am shotgun start for all age groups. Singles match play! 2-2:30pm awards presentation at Pecan Valley GC. All winning age divisions will be awarded, if your age division does not win and the team wins as a whole (total points for the cup) we ask you stay for the team photo with Texas Mexico Cup. Texas players will be selected by the following events:
